The Reality of the Homeschooling Business Owner
This is the reality of being an independent business owner, and a homeschooling mom. I walk into the study to sit down to do some work only to find a baby playing with a babydoll (my clients might recognize it as the one they learned to swaddle with), a 3-year-old trying to get a puppy to climb through a window but ultimately jumping out of the window herself, and a much bigger child jumping off of the table.
The balance that works best for me is chaotic and fun and LOUD, albeit a bit stressful at times. But I am completely aware that this is not an environment that works for everyone (or sane people ). I think its that understanding that really helps me to support my clients in spaces that fit their needs. Balances and routines are unique to each person. Birth and postpartum are full of those balances and routines. Surround yourself with people who nurture them for you!
